MAJOR L♥VE to you all!

This month's prayer was incredible. We're pretty sure you could all feel the love, because we sure did! Hopefully it was just as peaceful and healing for the thousands of you who joined in this amazing global event. Don't forget that you can share your experience with others in the new Major Love Prayer Forum.

It is a wondrous thing how people from all nations, faiths and backgrounds are coming together to make a change like this. We're not all Michael Jackson fans, but we are all people who believe we can make a difference, as he so wanted to do. And the change can happen when we are determined and know in our hearts that we will succeed. We will, because we're bringing love back into the world. At the core of each of our beings is love. We must only remember this truth so it can shine from within, uniting us and creating a world without fear. When love isn't given prominence, compassion and empathy are lacking. These two qualities are necessary to stop the cycles of greed, hunger and violence that destroy lives and the life of our planet. No matter who you are, no matter where you live, no matter how young or old, rich or poor, love is the deepest desire at the core of your being... both receiving it and giving. And what a world we will create when we all learn to give!

As Michael Jackson said in 'This Is It', we must "remind the world that love is important." And that is our quest: to heal the world with L.O.V.E. We hope to see you back here for the next Major Love Prayer on February 25th as we work together on making the dream a reality! Please keep spreading the word and mark the twenty-fifth on your calendars :)

Welcome to the January 25th Major Love Prayer

♥ We can change the world! If we all pray at the same time tonight ♥

Greetings and L.O.V.E. to everyone! Today will be the fifth Michael Jackson-inspired Major Love Prayer event! Many of you have joined in this before, but for others it will be your first time. It's truly a wonderful experience to feel that all around the globe, from Beijing to Bogota to Bucharest, thousands of others just like you are taking some minutes out of their day to combine energies in a massive worldwide effort to send love and healing! When we join together as one, there's nothing we can't do. We can bring the light, we can spread the message of love, we can create our peaceful HIStory -- for everyone and in honor of Michael Jackson (who sadly passed seven months ago today. God bless you, Michael. We all love you so much.)

Before beginning the prayer today, please consider the following:

1) It is truly best to begin a few minutes early if possible, just to relax and center your mind so you'll be ready to go. During the time just before the main prayer begins we are already quite connected and the energy is very intense! We're sure you'll feel it! This is the perfect time to say personal prayers, such as prayers for Michael and his family, and for asking him and/or others (angels, religious figures, whomever) to join and/or protect us during our group prayer.

2) At the top of the hour we send out a Major Love to the world! (See instructions /time in your location). This is not a massive wave of love to Michael, but with Michael! His dream was for his fans to take the lead, to heal the world. "We have to bring love back into the world, remind the world that love is important." Visualize growing the love, connecting to each other and letting it spread far and wide to the whole planet; all the world's children, our forests, oceans, air, the hearts of humanity. The whole Earth shall be filled with kindness, peace and healing.

3) Including HAITI - Haiti is part of this world, so naturally they are receiving our love as well! However, it would be wonderful if we could please take a moment to send an extra wave of love and healing to the people of Haiti. They are still in great need because of the earthquake and aftershocks and so many children have lost their parents. They need comfort, hope and for all medical and humanitarian aid to reach them right away!

Thanks again to all of you wonderful people! We are the Army of L.O.V.E. and together we are changing consciousness, infusing it with love and healing the world for the future . You're all amazing and Michael would be proud of us coming together as one :)

The January 25th Major Love Prayer to spread love, peace and healing to the world is now just a few days away! If you have javascript enabled on your browser you should see the prayer countdown in the new menu bar at the top of the page. The menu now also contains links to translations of the prayer instructions, to other fan projects and sites and it soon will be updated with links to charities that were supported by Michael Jackson. We also now have a forum in which you can share your prayer experiences (!), discuss our mission as fans and what we can do collectively and individually for the world, plus a place to share your stories, poems or messages of love for Michael. Registration is quick and easy :)

Thank you soooo much, all of you who've been spreading the word and trying to bring everyone together for this monthly prayer event and for the prayers for Haiti. Please remember to mark the 25th on your 2010 calendars, because these last few months are just the beginning. The world needs us, not just in crises but on a continuing basis. We are the ones who are bringing the light that will heal the world. We are the ones who can make that change by spreading love through our energy and action. Michael Jackson sang, "There's nothing that can't be done if we raise our voice as one!" Let's prove it; to each other, to the world and for Michael. 'Impact Your World' : Haiti Earthquake Action & Prayer

Update: Please pray with us for the people of Haiti at the usual MLPrayer time (2pm Los Angeles / 22:00 GMT) today and for the next week. Please also see the Haiti posts in forum for more info. Thanks, you guys!

Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims of and families impacted by the devastating earthquake in Haiti that occurred tonight, January 12th. Please take a moment to say a prayer that those trapped in collapsed buildings will be rescued quickly and safely and make a full recovery and that Haiti will receive all needed aid.

If you have the means to help, here is a nice guide with direct links to legit charities currently needing donations for relief efforts, plus many other ways to Impact Your World (from CNN). So many things are happening in our world on a daily basis, from human rights issues to natural disasters, for which we could offer our help in various ways (financial, as a volunteer, etc). As Michael has said, "It's up to us."

Study: 'Heal the World' Lyrics Make a Difference

Can just hearing music about global love be a first step to changing the world?

A new study by the University of Sussex in England has shown that listening to music with positive ("pro-social") lyrics can actually affect how likely we are to help others. Experiments involving groups of students demonstrated that those who'd listened to positive music were consistently more likely to act positively when researchers 'accidentally' knocked over a container of pencils:

"On average, those who had heard songs such as Michael Jackson's Heal the World responded more quickly and picked up almost five times as many pencils as those in the other [neutral lyrics] group."

Happy New Year to everyone!

So let's do our best to make 2010 the year of a massive new worldwide movement, an energy wave through humanity dedicated to spreading LOVE across the planet, in harmony and balance, with peace for us all. Let's keep it going until one day it's so automatic that no one has to think about it anymore.... until we live the love... until we are the love.

And in 2010 let us all continue to uphold and defend Michael Jackson's legacy, to speak the truth and fight lies in the media until the rest of the public finally understands who he is/was. We don't only honor and love him for his amazing talents, but for the amazing person he has always been; the biggest star in the world, yet through it all remained fun and childlike, caring and loving, a humanitarian, always wanting us to open our eyes and see that we are the world, that we can make a change, that it's up to us to heal the world. So in 2010, let us all "be God's glow". We love you, Michael. Now and forever.
