Dearest Michael ♥ Thank you so very much for all the beauty you've given the world. Thank you for sharing your talent, for the happiness, the excitement, the magic, the anticipation, the wonder, the mastery, for all that's shiny and sparkly and so splendidly bright. Thank you for the music, the words, the tunes that will never get old. Thank you for singing to us with that beautiful voice. Thank you for the emotion, the elation and all that was such a true revelation. Thank you for the dance, the dance, wow - the dance! Thank you for the energy, the beat, for the movement you channeled from God to your feet. Thank you for the smiles, the laughter, the joy of life that shone in your eyes and went straight to our hearts. Thank you for your daring, your innovation, for keeping the world on its toes with cutting edge inspiration. Thank you for the dreams, the surprises, the fantasy and the hope. Thank you for the adventure and for challenging the status quo.

Thank you for your strength, your courage, for never giving up, even when it seemed the whole world was against you. Thank you for not giving in when you knew you were right, for standing and fighting for truth, without spite. Thank you for your determination and endurance, although we'd have given anything if only it hadn't been needed.

Thank you for living from the soul, for your kindness and caring, for trying to make a difference, for letting your light shine and brighten so many lives. Thank you for always being so gorgeous inside and out that we couldn't help but chase you. Thank you for the hugs, for loving us more, for your patience with we who intensely adore. Thank you for the comfort and gentleness you radiated from within. Thank you for the gift of awakening, to each other and to the heartbeat of the planet. Thank you for all the wonderful things I've forgotten in this moment that I'll think of later and wish I'd added to this list. Thank you for all the years, even the ones in which we shed tears, for in the end it was all for LOVE. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the LOVE. Love is what matters and we understand this so. Thank you, Michael. ♥

It is the 3rd of September (2011, but this is a story that is relevant in any year on this day). What I have written is sad and I'm sorry for that. I really don't want to make others sad, but I couldn't stop the words. Two years ago my family and I sat before the television, framed photos of Michael surrounded by reverently placed flowers and lighted candles, a white rose laid out for our beloved. When the live feed from Forest Lawn was cut, we turned to a special DVD I'd made for this night. It was soft music, instrumentals, Michael's beautiful voice (the most beautiful voice I have ever heard) and a slideshow of his heavenly eyes, his sweet smile... the face of an angel, an amazing man, a genius, a father, a beautiful soul whose very existence has filled me with joy my whole life, whom I have cared for so personally, so deeply that there simply are no words to express it. We cried again. How could tears still be left after a summer filled with unending rivers of them? How do they still come so easily today?

I had prepared some things to say, to read, for Michael. One of the most precious was his poem "Child of Innocence" from Dancing the Dream. Michael is this for me. And yet, I couldn't get through the first words of this poem that night. I could not read this as eulogy. My voice cracked and was just gone... away in the vast ocean that had formed one teardrop at a time. I shook. I couldn't do it. But it is in my soul, in his, in yours. One in pain, but also one in joy, in love, in consciousness. He is and always will be my messenger of joy, in his elegance and beauty, my heartbeat fluttered to the rhythm of his dance, beckoning me beyond the call of duty, to change the world... with LOVE.

Thank you, my beautiful Michael. Our gratitude is as unending as your grace. You are missed from this world, yet I know you are alive and exuberant in spirit, evermore. Bless you always and thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Two years ago today, a man inhaled a deep breath and drifted off to sleep. When he opened his eyes he was met with the brilliant sight of a Shining Being. The Being smiled at the man and said: "He is waiting for you." He took the man's hand, and immediately after the man found himself floating through galaxies unknown, with stars that shone more brilliantly than the sun. Suddenly there was all whiteness surrounding him, and he turned to look at another Shining Being. This Being radiated Love, and the man fell to his knees in awe. The Being touched the man's chin and made him look up. He smiled at him and said: "I am glad you have arrived." Behind the Being, a massive gate opened its doors, and the man could see thousands of other beings inside, all of whom shone with a brilliant light that came from within. Bodhisattva
I stand just beyond your reach
My purpose now only to teach
Less tangible, but no less real
I can still see, hear and feel
Your love from across the chasm
I am not a ghostly phantasm
Out of sight behind a shimmering weave
How could you think I could bear to leave?

Bathed in a torrent of your tears
Aware of all of your wounds and fears

Once We Had A Judgement

Once we had a judgement
More so wrong than right
We couldn't eat bread with our brothers without a fight
We tore at hearts with all our might
For no foolish reason save to convince that we were right
And slowly we pushed out of our lives our very light.

Adamant was our signature
We knew it better than we knew ourselves
For we cared for no other being
And we behaved like Gods without realising that someday our bodies will quit breathing.

We all looked at God in so many ways
We fought ourselves to the grave
To be the conquerors of his love we killed our neighbours
Never knowing that God doesn't preach that either
Insight failed us
We never look around to see that we truly are one family
We stood centuries, side by side, before we decided to grow apart.

Then, once again, they decided to reach to us,
The Lord and his universe too
And take us to the times when love was all we knew
We thought it strange
We tried to disobey by letting our minds take flight
But we were soon to learn that love was the strongest of all the fights.

Love began to take over
Day by day
A little girl gave a soldier a rose to make his heart not go astray
Hope began to take over
Hour by hour
And the prayers of the sick and the healthy alike became louder and louder
It was the beginning of the journey for our eternal souls
It was the beginning for the universe to take us back home.

Pens returned to paper to write songs of truth
And paintings drew themselves with the hand only there to move
We were returning there but had not yet arrived
Our hearts were in the middle of two worlds
Our minds were still not at home
Until we glanced at the moon for the first time since separation filled all we had.

Finally we have reached home
We are one with our Earth
We look at the crimes we used to commit,
The stealing, the murders, the pain, the tears and the cheating
And praise ourselves that we won against it

Because we now know we are all people and that is all life has to say

Everytime I close my eyes
I can feel his spirit
Enshrined within my own

Igniting with a spark
